Glossier: Momofuku Birthday Balm Dot Com Collaboration & Mixtape

When Glossier collaborated with the cult favorite bakery, Momofuku Milk Bar, to create a birthday cake flavor of their best selling Balm Dot Com skin salve, Glossier once again turned to LUCY for music direction in promoting the product. Klarsfeld composed the original music for the video advertisement that ran across all of Glossier’s social channels, as well as curating another Spotify mixtape to supplement the Birthday Cake Balm Dot Com release. Keeping the original sound composition upbeat and energetic, Klarsfeld’s mix complemented both the celebratory and colorful packaging of the balm and Momofuku’s confetti birthday cake which initially inspired the flavor. The playlist is easy and versatile, transitioning from a relaxed summer pool party to a big night out.
